Description

This is the first draft of what I hope will become a registered and traded ETF for real, actual green companies. This index will not include large wasteful corporations that look less harmful on paper than their counterparts because they have a climate pledge and they purchase carbon credits. This index is for companies with an explicit focus on decreasing the effects of climate change. In the future I hope to have a more heavily curated version of this index, which will only include companies that have been vetted with research with the hopes of weeding out companies that are masquerading as green. That's why this index is the "1st draft" of The Green Index. This version is not thoroughly researched.
